Our Team

Dr. Navanita Lahiri

Dr. Navanita Lahiri [ B C S ]

Dr. Navanita Lahiri is associated with Gyan as Business Communication Strategist. An academic by training and a communications specialist by inclination, her professional life of nearly 20 years spans a wide range of domains and functions. She has taught college, been a corporate trainer and mentor, managed operations, and run employee care at various points in her career. Navanita is visiting faculty at some of the top management schools in Hyderabad, where she teaches HR and Soft Skills. Earlier she was an editor and project manager with Karvy Global Services Ltd, Hyderabad, where she not only set up the framework for research writing but also mentored a team of financial editors. In her role as the project manager for two international projects, Navanita was responsible for client handling and trouble shooting on operational issues. Prior to joining Karvy, she was senior lecturer at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan College. After acquiring a post graduate degree in English from Poona University, Navanita went on to do a PhD in culture studies from IIT Roorkee. To pursue her doctoral research she was awarded the NET Fellowship by the University Grants Commission. Navanita has also been a Fulbright Scholar at the State University of New York, Buffalo.

Dipankar Bose

Dipankar Bose [ Chief Operating Officer ]

Dipankar Bose is the Chief Operating Officer and heads the business research and advisory practices at Gyan. He brings with him 16 years of experience in varied functions and sectors. A seasoned professional, his corporate memory encompasses investment banking, consultancy and advisory, and business research. He is also one of the Founders of Gyan. Prior to Gyan Research and Analytics, Dipankar spearheaded the business research division at Karvy Global Services Ltd., Hyderabad, where he led multiple international projects. He was pivotal in generating investment ideas, client handling, and in guiding a team of talented professionals to prepare investment information memoranda, sectoral and equity research reports, and market feasibility reports for international clients. Before joining Karvy, Dipankar was Head of Business and Investment Research at Cygnus Business Research and Consultancy, an affiliate of ICFAI based out of Hyderabad. He was also a senior trainer with FPA and a resource faculty and question setter with IIMS, Kolkata. He has several research papers to his credit. Dipankar has over 300 successful research assignments under his belt. His satisfied clients in business research and consultancy include JETRO, CII, Expeditor (USA), British High Commission, ReportSure (UK), Pharmabiz, Merck (USA), Daichi (Japan), TSCR (USA), BonOrga (Germany), AECOC(Saudi Arabia), TAIB bank( Bahrain). He is a management graduate from IIPM with a background in industrial engineering.

Ajay Chathli

Ajay Chathli [ Chief Marketing Officer ]

Ajay Chathli is a Founder and the Chief Marketing Officer. He oversees operations and business development at Gyan Research and Analytics. He has over 20 years experience in business development, strategic planning and marketing across various sectors of Indian industry. Ajay specializes in supporting client organizations in their industry and business research needs. He facilitates international companies in their Indian entry strategies through international trade bodies. He also addresses their talent needs by assisting in talent acquisition. Ajay’s previous assignments include Head of Operations for Adecco’s Process & Life Sciences practice in India. He was also a Deputy Director at the Federation of India Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), New Delhi, where he led the Chemicals and Pharmaceutical division. During his tenure at FICCI, Ajay spearheaded several critical research initiatives and projects and organized many international conferences. Some of his key clients who have benefitted from his consulting solutions include the Vedanta Group, Posco-India, Godrej Industries, Dow Chemicals, Bayer, Jubilant Chemicals, Pepsi, Coca Cola, Merck Pharma, Novartis, Piramal Healthcare, Tata Chemicals, JETRO, FINPRO, CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, Airtel. An alumnus of Kingsbury High School, London, Ajay has a degree in Economics from Delhi University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing.
